I went through two of these puppies in about 8 weeks. The first lasted for 3 weeks or so. It was delightful to watch, seemed to answer my needs for vacuuming after a big family with two sloppy toddler eaters, two cats and six birds. But #1 flagged quickly and was returned to Target (for a full refund). I bought a second and it lasted for two days. It couldn't make it over the edge of my carpet, stalled in the middle of the floor, exhibited a mysterious sequence of lights that didn't match the owner's manual, etc. (It does have a fascinating owner's manual, BTW.) I'm trading up to a more expensive Rhoomba.

This is an awsome vacuum, it picks up dog hair, dust and dirt. The price is affordable but I have gone through 2 of them in two months. I use it everyday and my entire house has tile. [...] I think this time I will pay the extra $100 and upgrade to a Romba. At least them I can avoid the shipping.
